long time no talk, huh?
The past 2 weeks was a much needed blogging break for me. I said I would have pictures to share but honestly I didn’t really take that many pictures nor do anything worth noting besides working a lot
I got back to Delaware on Sunday, and since then have been unpacking, hanging with friends, and eating delicious food of course
Sunday night my mom took me and my friends out to dinner at Taverna. Which I’m now convinced is probably the best restaurant on our main st.
to start we split the mushroom pizza and a couple of the house salads
the pizzas at taverna are SO good! The crust is so thin and crispy
this salad was their house chopped salad and it was amazing. It even had celery in it which I didn’t mind at all surprisingly (i hate celery..i know..such a weird thing to not like but I’m not a fan)
for dinner we split four entrees
the salmon. YUM. those potatoes.
the ahi tuna with white beans and spinach. equally amazing.
but the entree that was by far everyones favorite was the house made ricotta and spinach agnolotti in a truffle sauce. OMG. anything with truffle in it will automatically be my favorite.
Yesterday my mom and I made a big BJ’s and grocery store run. We finally finished unpacking everything around lunch time and headed to one of my other favorite restaurants, homegrown, for a quick lunch outside
i got my stand by favorite, the greco-roman ceaser salad with grilled chicken. It totally hit the spot!
My first homemade dinner this year was a favorite of mine: fish tacos!
next time i make them, which will be very soon, I’ll share how i do them! They are so simple and so delicious! molly and I also managed to eat all of the mango avocado guac by ourselves..naturally
i’m headed off to my school’s brand new gym soon! hopefully I’ll get to snap a pic and share with you guys what it looks like
I hope everyone has a great day!
