Happy WIAW!
I don’t think I did too good of a job loading up on veggies yesterday..but what I did eat was delicious at least!
Breakfast
Technically part one of my breakfast was at 6:45am on my way to dance practice…it was a non-fat misto and banana from starbucks..still loving my starbucks giftcard Nanny!
Part 2 was when I got home around 8:30
I had a little piece of leftover veggie and goat cheese fritatta (see there are my veggies!) and an english muffin with some raspberry jam..we are SERIOUSLY hurting for food
While I was eating breakfast and blog reading, I came across protein balls on Brittany‘s blog and spur of the moment decided to make my own version!
I call them Raw Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough Balls
I pretty much followed her recipe exactly and just made a few changes to make them taste like oatmeal raisin cookie dough!
In a bowl I combined
- 5 tbsp almond butter
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 3 tbsp rolled oats
- 5 tbsp agave nectar
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
All stirred up and formed into 10 bite-sized balls. After I immediately ate one (GAH JUST LIKE COOKIE DOUGH OMGEEEZ) I stuck the rest in the fridge to harden up a bit
so freaking good! (please excuse my chipped nail polish -__-)..one of these was a perfect pre-work out snack yesterday!
Lunch
On my way home from the gym I stopped to get a protein shake from this place at my school called Main St Nutrition..its basically just a protein smoothie shop I guess?..they have a TON of different flavor combinations and I always get really overwhelmed when I go there cause I can never decide!
Yesterday I kept it simple and went for a chocolate banana shake

I also had another dough ball because I still felt a wee bit hungry after drinking this
Snack
A few hours after lunch I had a chobani before going to starbucks to study for a little while
I LOVE the mango flavor..I am also just obsessed with mangos in general so maybe thats why? But its really good!
Dinner
Last night I went out for “family dinner” with girls in my sorority to Homegrown! aka best restaurant in Newark!
I always switch between the same few items every time I go to Homegrown and last night it was vegetarian chili and deconstructed sushi!
So freaking good.
and naturally after dinner we made a fro-yo stop..the amount of times I’ve gotten fro-yo in the past 2 week is absurd people
I got a combo of chocolate, cookies and cream, and tart fro yo with strawberries, banana, mini m&m’s, pb chips, coconut, and sprinkles. I could eat fro yo every day for the rest of my life.
I’ve got a pretty busy day ahead of me including an exam, gym trip, and room decorating (for my little!)

Question for ya!: Do you normally order the same thing when you go to your favorite restaurant or do you like to try new items?
Normally I always switch it up between a couple favorites..sometimes I wish I was more adventurous but I get so stuck on my favorite items!

I could eat Fro-Yo every day too! For me its usually about 2x a month, which is pretty good!
Haha I always mix cookies and cream with tart too! It prevents me from filling the entire thing with c&c alone 8)

I like to go to different restaurants, but if I go to the same one, I get different things. ALWAYS.
Woah! Those raw cookie dough bites sound amazing!!!!! I think I could even get the bf to try that, because he loves oatmeal raisin cookies!
