Hi!
So today I baked another 2 batches of cookies! (hence the title of this post..yup I’m original)
I made classic chocolate chip
And I also made my FAVORITE
Peanut Butter Blossoms
And then my friend Eliza took a picture of me in the process
oh hayy.
Before we made cookies, we went out to lunch at Blue Ginger! The last time I blogged about eating there was when I came home for a weekend in October
At lunch, Blue Ginger serves special Asian inspired noodle dishes
I got the Pad Thai with shrimp
Which sadly just wasn’t that good..I barely made a dent in the dish.
Eliza got the Curry noodles, which were a lot better then mine!
Oh and to start we got the Shitake spring rolls
So good! I’ve gotten these spring rolls lots of times! The slaw they come with is the best part! It is tossed in a spicy mustard dressing..so good!
So basically I think we have enough cookies to last a lifetime through christmas
So many cookies!
I’m trying to limit the cookie intake until christmas eve/ christmas because too much sugar makes me feel really blah
But did you know that calories actually don’t count on holidays? cause they dont
But fo realzzz, I try not to worry about how many calories I’m consuming over the holidays..instead I just think of everything in moderation! I eat what I think is worth indulging in (like peanut butter blossoms) and leave out what I don’t think is worth it (like store bought cookies)
And in case you didn’t know..the best time to bake cookies is when your full (like I did right after lunch) so your not as tempted to eat a lot of cookie dough!
I’m planning on making some morning glory muffins to bring to my Nanny’s house for christmas breakfast! I’ll be sure to post the recipe when I make them!
I hope everyone had a great day!

I love peanut butter blossoms! My friend and I made them with those Hershey kisses with white chocolate in them- they were delicious
YUM.I’ve also made them with the caramel filled kisses!
i completely agree that cookies don’t count on christmas. but i would also add in christmas eve too!
i definitely agree!
All of those cookies look delicious! Also the curry noodles that your friend got sounds incredible!
I can ALWAYS go for a classic chocolate chip cookie. So good!
Uck. Sorry about your pad thai.
Classic chocolate and chip is the best.
Even if I bake when full, I still end up eating wayyyy too much. Especially if the cookies are peanut butter. I’ll probably eat the whole batch. I mean, what….? Did I say that?
oh don’t worry I still had some! I just mean it prevents you from eating the whole batch haha
I love peanut butter blossoms! The combo of PB and chocolate is seriously addicting
Those pb + kiss cookies are on the top of my list! I LOVE them. I also love this ice cream pie thing my mom always makes. YUM!
And its so true. Calories don’t count on holidays
Cookies..yes. More cookies is always good!
